Bouncy Bentley

Our animal re-homing centre at Martlesham remains closed to visiting public. If there is a dog you are interested in re-homing, please email to request an application form. Should your form be successful, you will be invited up by a pre-arranged appointment to meet the dog.

Bubbly Bentley came into RSPCA care when his owner could no longer look after him.
He is full of energy, loving his outdoor time on walks and playing in the garden with all his toys – for this reason we feel he would benefit from being part of an active family who can do lots with him.
Bentley is a very intelligent dog but can sometimes get frustrated quickly. He will need an owner who is willing to provide further training with him, particularly for recall and some general manners when he is hyper. It would also be beneficial for Bentley to have someone around most of the time to begin with, as he does find new surroundings quite stressful.
Bentley will need continuous training in the home as he can show aggression towards some other dogs and will need careful handling when on walks. Bentley has previously worn a muzzle and his new owner would need to continue his muzzle training. With time and the correct, positive training techniques Bentley may be able to enjoy walks with other dogs eventually.
He is quite an independent dog but can also be affectionate with human companions during his down time - away from toys, games and training time.
