Our animal re-homing centre at Martlesham remains closed to visiting public. If there is a cat you are interested in re-homing, please email reception.martlesham@rspca-ipswich.org.uk to request an application form. Should your form be successful, you will be invited up by a pre-arranged appointment to meet the cat.

Popeye ended up in our care after being found as an injured stray.
Unfortunately, this poor lad sustained a serious injury to one of his eyes leaving us no option but to remove it. After recovering it was found that the sight in his other eye was also compromised so Popeye is nearly (if not) completely blind.
This little lad was placed into a foster home so he can get a feel of home life and has adjusted to this wonderfully! His favourite things consist of sitting with his foster dad whilst he has his conference calls, getting lots of fuss (especially chin rubs), using his voice to let you know he is there and finding a cracked open window to soak up a nice breeze.
Because of his lack of site, we would like Popeye to be an indoor cat to keep him out of harm’s way.
Considering this poor lad has had a rough time, his fosterers describe him as a laid back and affectionate boy.
Do you have the right environment for this special boy?
