RSPCA Suffolk & Ipswich in the news

Bubs: Adult, Polecat, Neutered Female

Bubs came into our care after she was found as a stray. She is quite a nervous little ferret but is very sweet natured so would love to find a home that can continue handling and socialising her. She is currently living alone at the centre so will need to find a home with another ferret friend for company

We are an independent and mainly self-funding Branch of the RSPCA, a separately registered Charity from the National RSPCA. In 2015, over 95% of our work, helping animals in need in our local area, was paid for by our own fundraising activities, and legacies. We receive no money from the Government or the National Lottery.

Do you know about our Safe Haven Scheme?

Our Safe Haven scheme is a way for you to support us and help run our Re-Homing Centre and Clinic. Click here for more info. A BIG thank you to our Safe Haven supporters.

Low Cost Microchipping

It is now a legal requirement to have your dog microchipped!

It is always distressing when a pet goes missing but microchipping is one way you can ensure that if your pet is found, you can be easily re-united with your furry companion. OUR REDUCED MICROCHIPPING OFFER CONTINUES
£10 per animal or two animals for £15. A real bargain!  Please contact the Centre on 0300 999 7321 to make an appt.  We are unable to microchip animals under 12 weeks of age

Many people still believe that it’s ok to leave a dog in a car on a warm day if the windows are left open, or if they’re parked in the shade but it is NOT OK and is a very dangerous situation for the dog. Read our advice on what to do if you see a dog in distress in a hot car.
